You can find sites that offer free websites you can create but it wont be the same as the one I am going to tell you about. The reason is, the free ones are usually don the line in a name like their_website.com/yourwebsite_name. The one I am talking about is your_website.com. Your name is first not last like would be on a free one. so here is how you go about to get a good website:

The first thing you will need to do is get a domain name. A top level domain name such as abc.com or mywebsite.com, this is the name of your website dot com, .net and so on. It usually cost about $15. The next thing you need to do is pay for hosting. Most places offer to sell you a domain name and hosting all under one roof. Hosting prices vary and so does what you get as for bandwidth and storage space. As for me I tend to look for the best deal I can find or close to it. Bandwidth is like a freeway with cars on it. There is a limit as to how many cars can travel at any one time. If you use it up you pay to get more. In my case I have an unlimited amount of bandwidth I can use for my site. I also have an unlimited amount of storage space I can use. These are things that might be importatnt to you if you plan on having some sort of picture site or multiple webpages with a lot of photos on them. Yes you can have more than one page for your website, doesn't cost anymore than one page. All you do is design another webpage, link your first page to it by linking. Linking can be performed in many ways. One way is to make a button or word that users can click on. To do so is usually as simple as highlighting the word the click on hyperlink then add the address of your new page. Or if you have a website builder program, included in most offers to host your site, they will have a help menu to help you. Some have videos to show you. Also there is plenty of help on the Internet. As you learn you will find that it wasn't as hard as you thought it might be. It's only hard if you don't try. You cant give up !
